Hello, my name is Susan Roberts. I am a Glass and Mosaic Artist, trained in Architectural and Decorative Glasswork and my work has gained recognition with a national UK Skills Award of gold medal.
I live and work in the North Ayrshire town of West Kilbride, Scotland, home of Craft Town Scotland; a vibrant and dynamic social enterprise promoted by the community for the community consisting of several craft studios and gallery producing a diverse range of high quality work including my Studio, Heart Of Glass. |

In my studio, , I design, manufacture and exhibit my glasswork. I produce various types of glasswork for sale from my studio, examples can be seen in my site's gallery. I also work to commission producing bespoke pieces, see process page for details on commissioning.

David Grant celebrates Skills Challenge Competitions winners at awards ceremony
The winners of the 2006 Skills Challenge Competitions were celebrating yesterday, as they were formally recognised for their successes in national competitions at an awards ceremony in London .
They were presented with their awards and congratulated by David Grant, the celebrity vocal coach, at the UK Skills Competition Awards. The awards are held to celebrate the gold medal winners of the 2006 Skills Challenge competitions, and this year's ceremony was held at The Royal Geographical Society in Kensington, with the support of City & Guilds. |
